This short shift kit reduces shift throw 20%. Extensive testing indicates that this is the ideal amount of reduction to maintain shifting accuracy and feel. We found that more than a 20% reduction in throw made the shifter feel "gummy" due to the extreme angle put on the shifter cables.

The kit includes a shift link extension that simply slips on the end of your existing factory lever thereby reducing shift throw distance. The extension is black oxide coated preventing corrosion and uses 3 locking set screws to ensure a secure long term connection. Heat shrink tubing is also included as an extra measure of security preventing dirt or dust contamination from entering the assembly.
