After months of rigorous development, Evotech's latest software programs are ready to help you unleash the full potential of your stock or modified MINI Cooper S. Evotech purchased a single MINI Cooper S as a test bed to develop "modification specific ECU chip programming that you can now use for your MINI. Through the hard work of Evotech's engineers and programmers, your Mini Cooper S can have an ECU that is specifically tailored to work with all of the performance upgrades you've made.
The Evotech MINI Cooper S ECU Chip upgrade shifts the focus towards performance by re-mapping the software and increasing the sampling rate without sacrificing reliability. When developing the re-mapped ECU, great lengths were taken to ensure accurate repeatable dyno results. Evotech's MINI Cooper S ECU saw months of hardcore development on the racetrack, street and the dyno to ensure both reliability and repeatable performance.
Evotech's software was developed using a single dyno and the same MINI Cooper S so that gains in power could be tracked consistently throughout testing. Evotech does this so that variables can't muddy the programming equation skewing the performance test results. In so doing, Evotech has developed a comprehensive range of software to meet your current and future modification needs.
STAGE 1: Stock MINI Cooper S with no other upgrades, Estimated HP 175 STAGE 2: MINI Cooper S with 15%Pulley, Cold Air Intake and Cat Back Exhaust, Estimated HP 195 STAGE 3: MINI Cooper S with 15%Pulley, Cold Air Intake, Throttle Body, Header and Cat Back Exhaust, Estimated HP 215 STAGE 4: MINI Cooper S with 15%Pulley, Cold Air Intake, Throttle Body, Big Valve Cylinder Head, Cam, Header and Cat Back Exhaust, Estimated HP 245 STAGE 5: MINI Cooper S with 15%Pulley, Cold Air Intake, Throttle Body, Big Valve Cylinder Head, Cam, Water to Air Intercooler, Header and Cat Back Exhaust, Estimated HP 265
FUEL SELECTION: 91-93 Octane NOTE, all programs were developed using 93 octane. Your results may vary slightly based on fuel quality and octane rating. Select from the drop down menu to indicate the appropriate Stage for your MINI.
UPGRADES Upgrade fees will be charged from STAGE 1 to STAGE 2-3 will be $70 plus shipping if applicable, STAGE 1 to STAGE 4-5 will be $120 plus shipping if applicable STAGE 2-3 to STAGE 4-5 $60 plus shipping if applicable. Previous customers would only need an upgrade to the Stage 4-5 version; the price of the upgrade is $60 plus shipping if applicable.

I got the car breathing better, have more boost and can get the power down without the engine rocking all around. Whats all that funny black stuff in the inside of my tail pipe? Oh yeah, George said it would run rich, and he was right. My next step was the ECU upgrade. I ordered it waited a couple of days and had the software installed. The car runs great. No more black soot. Mileage increased. It is more responsive. It revs higher. This ties everything together nicely.

It went great. That track is A LOT of fun! The elevation changes and blind corners were very fun, and great for building some skills. I can't wait to go back there next year. The brakes worked well, and the car ran great all day. I ran 100 octane all day, and the exhaust and ECU upgrade were definitely noticeable. The only car in my group that was keeping up had a similar setup, but also had the madness V2 header which helped in the straight. I think i'm about ready to upgrade swaybars, springs, and header next.
